Toshiba NB200 Netbook

Toshiba’s new netbook may be the next best thing since the 1000HE. It’s got all the same specs (N280, 1GB RAM, 10″ Screen etc.) but where it succeeds is in design and price. With most netbooks now spec’ed in the same area, its up to their companies to come up with more user friendly build quality and input device and Toshiba did just the right thing. 3 USB inputs, card reader, webcam etc. make this netbook a true winner.

New Red and Blue PS3 Controllers

New colored controllers with be available this October for the PS3. The controllers won’t be different than the other dual shock 3 controllers so replacing your old black DS3 will be a waste, unless you are a extreme Halo fan. Oh nevermind. IMHO save for something better and paint your own controllers red or blue.

As always, the specs don’t seem to jump out at anyone with this netbook. Since most netbooks havent really changed spec-wise recently this one might be worthy of a second look. Although the specs seem to be comparable to any other netbook on the market, the black metal construction may lure in some extra buyers. Combo’d with a 10 inch screen, this metal netbook may be a winner for some apple fans who cant get over the sleek and stylish feel of the new macbook pros.

The Best Non-Touch Screen Smartphone – Nokia N86

Nokia has finally launched its N86 8 Megapixel mobile phone in the market. The phone has been a force to be reckoned with everyone hailing it as the best non-touchscreen smartphone. This is the first phone from the world’s largest mobile maker to feature such a high quality camera. N86 in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs. 27,359.

This N86 is a dual-slide design with rounded corners. It measures 103.4mm x 51.4mm x 16.5 mm (4.1in x 2.0in x .6in) and has a display of 16 million colors.

Each Nokia N86 8MP can play up to 25 hours of music on one charge which can be enjoyed with the Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-214 also announced today.

The company says their built-in camera will take “clear” pictures in both dark and light conditions. There is a wide-angle option along with a high speed shutter.

The device also offers a bright OLED screen with scratch resistant hardened glass, easy photo management, full sync capability with a PC and TV-out support for slide shows.

This phone has also taken care for the gaming fans as phone offers dedicated gaming keys and some 17 pre-loaded N-Gage labels.

Spotify is a music streaming service that could make it to iPhone users. It will cost money and will be available within a couple of weeks for download. The company has also stated that users can save playlists while they are offline.

Asus 1004DN Netbook is Officially-Optical

The new Asus netbook is going be pretty standard with a 10″ screen and Intel N280 processor but will have a new Intel GN40 chip. Not much info has been released about the GN40 yet, however. The netbook does come with an optical drive, which is a leap forward in the netbook world.
